The "First" NE AL Tailgate Party is now history.

As one of the instigators of this event, I invite your input, comments, suggestions, etc. as to your impression and also if you think it is worthy of continuation.

In my opinion, the event was marred  by the extremely unusual weather of the previous night along with the cold front that moved in resulting in a rather uncomfortable day for outdoor activities and hampered attendance. Despite this, the attendance was not bad.  Those selling surplus equipment have indicated that their sales were good.  Those buying were pleased with what they bought.  Soooo seems everyone was happy. The fellowship was great, the cooperation of everyone in this endeavor was great for me and did not go unnoticed. With your input, participation etc. any future events should be even better.

I do not feel we should have any charges for admission, tailgaters, or provide any financial incentive to vendors for participation.
Concessions would be good and we will try to provide that in the future. This is a hobby that we all enjoy or we would not be here. Let's enjoy the hobby to it's fullest as we go forward and keep it "SIMPLE".

The ARRL VE's said this was their largest testing session ever.  There are now two new (Hams) and let's introduce them to 6 Meters and make them feel welcome.

My sincere appreciation to everyone for your attendance and participation.
